As you can see, there are a number of different things that you can do, and different kinds of things to do. If you want to drink, you can drink. If you want to be cultured, you can go to museums and other artistic venues. You can spend your days just wandering the streets, or you can go watch a sporting event. Planning Your Staten Island TripWhen you are ready to go to Staten Island, you will want to begin to plan your trip ahead of time. This is not a place that you want to just discover as you go along. Staten Island is still a fast paced city, a place where you can get lost if you’re not sure where you’re going. Here are some ways to familiarize yourself with the area before you go:
Of course, if you just pick up a map and want to wander around the borough, that’s something you can do too. Getting to New York doesn’t mean you have to go to Times Square or that you have to head to FAO Schwartz in order to have the quintessential New York experience. You can head to the other boroughs where it might not be cheaper, but it can certainly be more of an adventure. |
